PRLab Meetups

Intro

PRLab is an international agency specializing in PR for tech startups and scaleups. The company originated from a preceding community of MarCom professionals in the Netherlands.

Challenge

As the agency was finding its footing, we did not want the community to become stagnant. There was a need for a new approach—one where the community and the company would grow in a symbiotic way.

Solution

We divided our events into three categories: meetups. exclusive discussions, and workshops. PRLab Meetups continued to grow as a networking event series in Amsterdam, hosting speakers from creative agencies, inspiring startups and scaleups, and established brands. The aim was to nurture the community and introduce

PRLab Breakfast Series brought together communication leaders from companies like Facebook, HEMA, TomTom, Iamsterdam, VanMoof, EV Box, and more, to host exclusive discussions on how they navigate industry changes. The aim was to create an intimate environment where professionals felt comfortable asking for advice. (And to build credibility for the agency.)

PRLab Workshops, while still under the PRLab Events umbrella, also became one of our business offerings. Coworking spaces, corporations, and governmental projects would hire PRLab to give workshops on PR, social media, and branding basics for new entrepreneurs.

As a co-founder of the PRLab agency, I managed the teams behind each event, led sponsorship and speaker searches, and presented at workshops.
